Type Your Text

Tap the text field and type whatever you want displayed. Use the ✕ button to clear and start again.

Pick a Colour

Swipe the Colour picker to choose your neon hue. Swipe Backdrop to set the background. Or hit Randomise.

Step 03

Choose Your Font

Swipe the Font picker to browse the built-in typefaces. Each gives your neon sign a completely different personality.

Step 04

Select an Effect

Swipe the Effect picker to choose from Neon, Backlit, and more. Preview live before saving.

Step 05

Hold to Lock

Tap the HOLD button under any picker to lock it during randomisation. Keep your colour, explore every font.

Step 06

Save & Set

Tap Save to export as a still image, or Save Live Photo for the animated version. Set via iOS Settings → Wallpaper.

Does the app need an internet connection? +
No — all rendering is done entirely on-device. No Wi-Fi or mobile data required.
How do Live Photo wallpapers work? +
Save a Live Photo wallpaper, set it in iOS, then press and hold the Lock Screen to activate the animation. Requires iOS Live Photo wallpaper support (iPhone 6s and later).
What is the HOLD button? +
Each picker (Backdrop, Colour, Font, Effect) has a HOLD toggle. When active, that picker won't change when you randomise — handy if you've found a colour you love.
I saved my wallpaper but can't find it in Photos. +
Check that the app has Photos permission: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Neon Wallpaper Creator → "Add Photos Only" or "Full Access".
Is the app free? +
